Known for its historic riverfront and farmland Point Pleasant has a rich history. From the 1774 Battle of Point Pleasant where Virginia militiamen fought the Native Americans under Chief Cornstalk, to the WWII bunkers commonly referred to as the TNT area because during their prime workers would produce anywhere from 500,000 to 720,000 pounds of TNT daily. This TNT area would become the place where the first reported sighting of Mothman would take place. In November of 1966 two local couples were out driving at night by the old TNT area when a large 7 foot tall winged creature with glowing red eyes began to chase the car. Later on December 16, 1967 The Silver Bridge that connected Point Pleasant, WV to Gallipolis, OH collapsed and killed 45 people. Reports came in from people claiming to have seen the Mothman flying around prior to the bridge collapse. Since then there have been over 250 sightings of the Mothman.

Dial Diameter: 44mm

Water Resistance : 3ATM

Case Material: Wood

Band Material Type: Stainless Steel, Wood

Band Width: 22mm

Case Thickness: 11mm

Dial Window Material: Glass

Band Length: 22cm (8.66 in)

The Flatwoods Monster
Location: Braxton County, West Virginia

On the clear warm evening of September 12, 1952, a bright pulsing red light streaked through the sky and landed on a farm in Flatwoods, West Virginia. Seven residents including a National Guardsman named Gene Lemon headed towards the area where the red light had landed. As the group approached the landing site they encountered a 10 foot tall creature with an ace of spades shaped red hood, round glowing face, claw like hands and a dark metallic green body. The creature hissed at the group and emitted a foul sulfuric mist causing them to flee in terror and later it was reported that they became ill with irritation, nausea, and vomiting. Local news quickly picked up the story and the U.S. Air Force investigated the case under Project Blue Book. Since then the lore of the Flatwoods Monster also referred to as Braxie has been told time and time again.

Dial Diameter: 44mm

Water Resistance : 3ATM

Case Material: Wood

Band Material Type: Stainless Steel, Wood

Band Width: 22mm

Case Thickness: 11mm

Dial Window Material: Glass

Band Length: 22cm (8.66 in)

The Wampus
Location: Various Regions throughout Appalachia

According to ancient Cherokee legend, a woman hiding under a mountain lion skin, snuck into a male only ritual. She was discovered by either tribal elders or a medicine man. Upset they punished her and turned her into a half woman half feline beast cursed to roam the dark mountain woods forever. Appalachian settlers adopted the legend and continued to pass it on. Over time claims of sightings began to arise. Some sightings tell of the original half-woman, half-feline creature, while others tell of a supernatural panther or mountain lion with glowing yellow eyes. While the appearance varies all stories tell of an eerie, human-like shriek that emits a sound so loud it echoes through the dark woods. The Wampus has been blamed for untimely livestock deaths and has served as a warning about why you shouldn't go into the Appalachian woods at night.

Dial Diameter: 44mm

Water Resistance : 3ATM

Case Material: Wood

Band Material Type: Stainless Steel, Wood

Band Width: 22mm

Case Thickness: 11mm

Dial Window Material: Glass

Band Length: 22cm (8.66 in)

The Blue Devil

Location: Webster County, West Virginia

The Blue Devil was first spotted during the Winter of 1939 in Webster County. Locals had begun to report seeing a massive creature prowling around at night. The creature was described as a bluish dog-like beast with glowing eyes and a terrifying howl. Locals blamed the Blue Devil for killing cattle, sheep, and a prized hunting dog. Soon word of the Blue Devil and paranoia spread into neighboring Randolph County where locals offered $400 to anyone who could capture or kill the Blue Devil.

Dial Diameter: 44mm

Water Resistance : 3ATM

Case Material: Wood

Band Material Type: Stainless Steel, Wood

Band Width: 22mm

Case Thickness: 11mm

Dial Window Material: Glass

Band Length: 22cm (8.66 in)
